The History or Story Behind My Site
This really all started with my dad. He read alot of DC comics growing up and decided to create a super hero of his own. He also has an interest with ducks. The first drawing of Mallard Man was a Aquaman styled costume with a picture of a duck on his chest. The mask he wore was similar to Robin's. It was drawn when he was still in school but he never really added wings to it until about 3 to 4 weeks before this site was created. The characters Blue Jay, Albatross, Duckling Boy, and War Bird were all created at the same time and on the same piece of paper. Blue Jay was drawn by my dad also. The character's real name is actually my mom's name. Albatross and Duckling Boy were drawn by me. Except at the time I wasn't planning on making my own super hero so I drew real wings instead of metal wings on a jet pack. The outline for War Bird was drawn by my dad but the costume design was drawn by my friend Lucas. The other characters on photo page 2 were created by me. The other five heroes are based on my dad's co-workers. Each of the heroes on photo page 3 has it's own story behind it. Adventure Man was originally just a game I played when I was 8 years old. Mystery Phantom was based on the movies The Shadow and The Phantom. Electro Morph was a character I created when I was interested in those powers. I got the idea from Scorpion's Hand Snake move on Mortal Combat. The Masked Riddler's powers are based on the powers of the Beetle Borgs. The name comes from 3 Jim Carrey movies. Masked is from The Mask, Riddler is from Batman Forever, and his real name David Ace... well, it was originally Donald Ace but I created Neptune with my name so I changed his to David. His last name is from "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective". The Claw was oiginally me just thinking "Wouldn't it be cool to have the strenth and speed of every animal that has ever lived on this planet." Neptune was created during my obsession with my Zodiac. The name is not only a planet but also another name for the god Poseidon. Mutate was just a cool idea for a pet. Element Controller and Power Ring Man were created at the last minute just so the number of heroes on photo page 2 and 3 would be the same. Dog Fish is actually my dog and he does actually look like that only without the mask and cape. The Gothic Sword was created recently. I have an obsession with swords now and I always wear black. I didn't find out until after I created the character there really is a gothic sword. Not a super hero but an actual sword. I am registered with the name The Gothic Sword.
